Laniakea

Laniakea è una collezione di opere realizzate in acrilico su tela, ispirate alle tecniche e ai linguaggi visivi dell’arte aborigena australiana. I segni e i motivi circolari si intrecciano per dare forma a mappe immaginarie che non appartengono alla terra, ma al cielo. Il titolo, Laniakea, significa “immenso cielo” ed è il nome del superammasso di galassie di cui fa parte anche la Via Lattea. Queste opere guardano alle stelle come origine e destino, invitando a percepire l’universo come un tessuto infinito in cui siamo tutti connessi.

Laniakea is a collection of acrylic on canvas works inspired by the techniques and visual languages of Australian Aboriginal art. Signs and circular patterns intertwine to create imaginary maps that belong not to the earth, but to the sky. The title, Laniakea, means “immense heaven” and is the name of the supercluster of galaxies that includes the Milky Way. These works turn their gaze to the stars as both origin and destiny, inviting us to perceive the universe as an infinite fabric in which everything is connected.
